The gallery platform with a real editor inside

Every other client-gallery platform assumes you’ve already finished editing somewhere else. Obscura puts a real develop-and-retouch editor in the same browser tab as the gallery, so the photos you cull, edit and deliver never leave the app.

Everything between the shoot and the send

Upload straight from the card — including real camera RAW formats like Canon’s CR3 — then cull the take down to your selects, edit them, and deliver a branded gallery, all in one pipeline. There’s no intermediate export step and no second piece of software involved at any stage.

A real develop module

The editor isn’t a filter strip bolted onto a gallery viewer. It includes:

Retouch without round-tripping

Healing and AI-assisted portrait retouch run in the browser, on the same photo you’re about to deliver. Blemish and distraction removal happen right where you’re already working, so a retouch pass doesn’t mean stopping to open a different application.

Skip the two-app workflow

The default workflow everywhere else is Lightroom, then export, then upload to a gallery tool that only displays what you hand it. As of July 2026, none of the major gallery platforms — Pixieset, Pic-Time, ShootProof, Zenfolio, CloudSpot — include an editor in their gallery plans. Pixieset comes closest and still sells editing only as a separate product, at $12–18/month on top of gallery hosting. Obscura includes the editor on every plan, at no extra cost: free at 100 GB, or Pro at $10/month for 1 TB.

Questions

Does it handle RAW files?
Yes, including formats like Canon’s CR3. Develop adjustments are applied to the original RAW data, not a pre-rendered JPEG.
Do I still need Lightroom?
No. RAW develop, tone curves, HSL, clarity, noise reduction, healing and portrait retouch all run in the browser on Obscura. There’s no export-and-reimport step.
Does editing cost extra?
No. The full editor is included on both plans — free at 100 GB storage, and Pro at $10/month for 1 TB. See pricing for the full breakdown.

Edit and deliver in the same tab. Upload a real shoot and see the develop module on your own photos.
